A Meditation
Imagine for a moment that you are a single spark of light, floating in the vastness of space. Your light forms a halo around you, and you are bathed in it, cocooned in light. You know only the quiet and a vast, endless feeling of safety and serenity. You are swaddled in the beautiful glow you yourself create.
Now feel the glow begin to deepen. The halo around you brightens and radiates warmth out into the space around you, illuminating it and filling you even more fully with boundless joy and with the song of yourself. This pleasant warmth suffuses every particle of you.
All of you hums and vibrates in this light and joy. You feel yourself sending off sparks of joy and contentment into space, and suddenly you realize that what you believed to be dark and empty is replete, swirling, moving, alive and pulsing with joy. Not only are you not alone, you have never felt more part of something. You know that you have never been and never will be alone.
This life and joy and energy all around you holds you close, supporting you with its presence, showering you with a glowing warmth, fuller still, and you become even more aware that you and this energy are one in the same. You are it, and it is you, and you are aglow now, with bright, white light, full of every color and every possibility.
This joy knows no bounds. You can explore it in every direction, and there is always, always more. You are aware that can reach out and have this feeling at all times and in every location, for this is the nature of your being.
Experience this recognition for as long as it fills you with pleasure. When you feel complete, send your boundless Love and energy out into the universe, so it may add to the infinite. Amen.
