I had joined an online meeting some time ago, and I remember one of the participants asking the spiritual leader/teacher how to become a saint. The teacher said it was egotistical to think that way.
I think differently. If a desire to be a saint is in your heart and it is born from love, then love will teach you how to be a saint. I imagine there are one thousand paths that lead to sainthood, even more no doubt. No two saints are alike just as no two flowers are alike.
What is of love, leads to God.
It is about desire and even as a flower is uplifted in its beauty and humbleness, so too are our desires uplifted and purified, and we experience the wholeness, the sacredness of what lies within.
Did not Mother Teresa see love in all she served?
